Fay Yen

Supervisor/BCBA®

Fay is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst® with over 19 years of experience in the field of Applied Behaviour Analysis. The vast majority of her experience includes working with families as a private practice. Currently, as a Behavioural Consultant, she work with multidisciplinary teams hired by the families to assist children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Vancouver, Canada.

She hold a Masters Degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis from St. Cloud University and a BA in Psychology from Simon Fraser University.  Through the course of internship, she was supervised by Dr. Sara White (BCBA-D) and Sharon Baxter (BCBA). Her team has improved many challenging behaviours including: severe food selectivity, potty training, delays in speech and communication, learning delays, behaviour challenges and social skill deficit. Teaching appropriate socially significant skills is always her number one goal.  Her students range from the age of 2 to 17.  

Fay is also one of the instructors for the Two-Day Autism BC – Behaviour Interventionist Workshop.  She teaches principles and strategies in Applied Behaviour Analysis throughout communities in British Columbia.

Fay is the founder of ABA To Go. This is a free mandarin Podcast and YouTube platform about ABA principles and strategies to support individuals with autism.  Her mission for this platform is to help parents gain knowledge using and implementing ABA techniques in daily life to enhance children's learning related to socially significant life skills.

Tina Lin

Supervisor/BCBA®

Tina is a Board Certified Behavioural Analyst® (BCBA®) and Co-Founder of Co. Leap Behavioral Consulting.  Since 2007, Tina has over 13 years of experience and has supported over 80 families with Autistic individuals in home, daycare, school, and other community settings. Her background started as a preschool teacher in an inclusive centre where she assisted children diagnosed with Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, visual impairment, hearing impairment, global delay, and other health issues.

 

Meanwhile, Tina started her career as a Behavioural Interventionist and became a Behavioural Consultant in 2012. In 2015, Tina completed her Masters in Applied Behaviour Analysis at St. Cloud State University and became a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) in 2016.

 

As a part of Tina’s commitment to her teams, she provides training to parents, Behavioural Interventionists/RBTs, teachers, early childhood educators on various topics in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
